Applications:
Triazophos is an agent used to control lepidopteran pests, mites, fly larvae, and underground pests on fruit trees, cotton, and grain crops. It is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide, acaricide, and nematicide, primarily used to control lepidopteran pests, mites, fly larvae, and underground pests on fruit trees, cotton, and grain crops. Studies have shown that after triazophos is applied to paddy fields, its residues are mainly distributed on the plants, followed by the soil and paddy fields. The degradation of pesticides in plants and paddy fields is faster than in the soil. The degradation half-life of triazophos is 4.1–4.2 days for rice plants, 6.1–9.1 days for soil, and undetectable residues in paddy fields 7 days after application. Triazophos does not easily leach downwards into the soil; except for residues detected 5–15 days after application to the top 0–10 cm of soil, no residues were detected elsewhere. The degradation rate of triazophos in different soils follows the order: loam > sandy loam > clay loam, and its degradation rate is also closely related to the soil organic matter content. Higher soil organic matter content results in faster pesticide degradation.
